The Christmas season has begun

Despite all the retailers trying to convince us that the Christmas season began before Halloween, it really started in the Fitzgerald house this weekend. We pulled the boxes of Christmas stuff down from the attic, and put up the outside lights. As usual, the lights look pretty good, and we have plans to add on to them this year. By the way, whoever invented the little clips that allow us to put the lights on without staples is a freakin' genius.

We also cooked a turkey today. But, due to poor planning (who knew thawing an 8 lb turkey would take 2 days), the turkey was ready at about 9:45 pm. So it was cut up for leftovers. Okay, so we had to eat some of it fresh out of the oven...even if it was late.

Lookin' forward to seeing a launch this week!!
