I love lazy Saturdays

Lazy Saturdays are great. Of course, my definition of lazy differs from Michelle's. Today, we spent the morning reading the paper and watching TV (I love Spike TV's car shows). Just before lunch, I started one of my projects for the day.

The first project was actually to finish something I started last weekend. I had to replace the power window motor on the driver's side of the Trans Am. This window motor has been the bane of my existence for quite a while. I blame it on the fact that the window in my car is very heavy, and requires a lot of umph to move it up and down. Occasionally the motor jams, and refuses to work. So I have to go in and take it apart, and put it back together to get it to work. I've done this 5 or 6 times in the past 3 years. Last weekend I decided to go ahead and take the motor back. I took it to Autozone (where I bought it originally...the motor that came with the car is long gone), and they honored the lifetime warranty and gave me a new one. Sweet.

So I finally got the motor installed this morning. The Trans Am lives again!!

My next project was to find out what was making that godawful noise in the rear air conditioner of the Suburban. I took apart the rear a/c unit, and realized that I need to replace the blower motor. I just ordered the parts, they should be here by next weekend. Hopefully that will help.

For the rest of the day, I think I'm going to play World of Warcraft. More on that later.
