Here comes the rain again
Yes, it’s raining. No, it’s not that bad where we are. The recent infrastructure development on the land that is between us and the HEB has apparently vastly improved the drainage situation. Neither today, nor last month, was I ever concerned about flooding on the road leading into our subdivision. Some progress is nice.
It rained hard for about half of the day (from my vantage point at work). It apparently woke Michelle up a couple of times. I didn’t have any problems driving to dinner or home. The drainage ditches and sewers were mostly full, but still able to control the water.
So no need to worry about us right now. Looks like Tropical Storm Erin was a bit of an annoyance (to us), but not that bad. Let’s just hope that Hurricane Dean misses us.
Never a dull moment in Houston, when it comes to the weather.
