Expedition 15 has landed!
Oleg and Fyodor (and a Malaysian tourist) landed this morning in Kazakhstan. Sounds like they had a rough entry, although it was nothing they couldn’t handle. Instead of performing a nice, smooth reentry, they came in a little steeper than originally intended. That means they probably felt 9 times the force of gravity on the way down. That has to be rough, considering they have been in microgravity for 6 months. It put them 200 miles away from there primary landing site.
They are safe, and a rescue crew was with them within 10 minutes of their landing.
This time of entry has happened before. My last Expedition crew (Expedition 6), came home this way. Have I jinxed them?
