Merry Christmas to all!

We spent out Christmas Eve visiting with family. We met Me-Maw and my parents for lunch, and then drove with my parents to San Antonio to spend the night with my sister, Shanda, and her husband, Shannon. Their kids were really looking forward to Santa visiting, and he didn’t disappoint. Here are the kids in the midst of unwrapping presents on Christmas Eve (we opened all the presents except the ones that Santa delivered). They’re so cute!

Shanda and Shannon had the front yard decked out with neat decorations. We loved Santa’s airplane and runway!

And of course, my parents (and Shanda & Shannon) went overboard with the presents, as usual. All the presents were great. We’ll update you with what we got at another time (or call for details).

We drove back home today, to give the Beach Household time to recover from the whirlwind that is Christmas. Michelle and I have a couple of days to enjoy our gifts and visit with friends before we go back to work (Michelle has to work daytime hours for a week starting New Year’s Eve, I don’t go back to work until Jan 2.)

Once again, Merry Christmas to all! Happy Hanukkah and Kwanza or whatever holiday you choose to celebrate this year! And Happy Festivus to the rest of us!
