Michelle and I relaxed this weekend. Next weekend is Charis and Byron’s wedding, and we’re really looking forward to it. It should be quite a party.

Michelle and my parents had commented about the fit of my sport coat on the way to the funeral, so we decided I needed to get a proper suit. So, yesterday we headed over to Dillards. We ran into the sales manager for the suits, and he set me up very well. He did all the necessary measurements and made the marks for the tailor on the suit. Michelle and another salesperson went over to pick out a shirt and tie while I was getting measured. (For my own reference, I wear a 15.5/34 fitted dress shirt…if I didn’t write this down I’d completely forget it).

It’s a grey suit, which I wasn’t expecting to get, but I did like the way it looked, and it has some good options for variety of shirts and ties to wear underneath it. It should be nice. It’s going to the tailor this week, and we’ll pick it up just in time for the wedding on Saturday.
